The Little Nest On Prairie Lane

It's hard to get a good picture through a little bird hole, but here you go.
Our little blue inhabitants are apparently happy in their home.
We are keeping watch!

Life Lately ~ In Pictures ~ Part 2

Erin's chrysallis "hatched" Easter morning while we were at church.
New Life in Him.

We have been experiencing more backyard wildlife and are super excited about it!
See him at the bottom? He has 2 siblings and a parent hanging around too!

And this blue beauty on the fence has a female friend. They found a cozy little house on Prairie Lane to lay 4 little blue eggs!

Mom bought this sweet smelling Mother's day gift for me!

and Patrick suggested this garden planter since I have been wanting a garden for a while now. Tomatoes, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe...We'll see what actually produces!

The kids and I also went to Baskin Robbins, a first time treat for them and I haven't been in maybe 15 years! Jamoca almond fudge in a chocolate nut dipped waffle cone. mmmmmm!

The Girl Scouts & I went to the Brec Botanical Garden. The flowers were beautiful!

Even the bees were busy pollenating :)

So there you have it. Just a bit of what we've been up to.

Two blog posts, and this stack of paperwork I was supposed to do is still sitting beside me :)

Life Lately ~ In Pictures ~ Part 1

Where have we been & what have we been doing? Lots. Girl Scouts is nearly done, school is nearly done. We are all ready to "de-schedule" and do lots of swimming!

Erin decided to "grow" her hair out. I'm pretty sure they didn't mention in Tangled how Rapunzel's hair shedded EVERYWHERE!

Erin's last field trip was to the Red Bluff Farm. It was by far the best field trip ever! It was extremely interesting and informative. Three classes of Kindergardeners & when the Farmer said "sshhhh", all was quiet!

The "K" teachers each had a turn to kiss the pig. I'm not sure who was the most upset about it. But I CAN tell you, the pig definately let everyone know about his displeasure!

I started doing this and am on week 6. It hasn't killed me yet, but I'm thinking any day now...
Luke had his Easter parade at school. He got to ride his bike with strict rules NOT to run over any ankles. ahem.
WATCH OUT FOR RICKY!
