The Word Became Flesh

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

He looked like any other baby boy, yet He was not. He was Emmanuel, God in the flesh. He became a man for us. Me and you! Before there was anything, Jesus existed. He is the creator of all things.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2

I. The Moment In Time When The Word Became Flesh Was...
1- A prophetic moment - Isiah 7:14
2- A perfect moment  - The disciples were allowed to go through Rome freely to spread the good news. The Jews were looking for the Messiah.
3- A precise moment - God knew the exact moment Jesus would be born, and He planned it that way.

II. The Miracle Of The Word Becoming Flesh
1- He was born of a virgin birth -  She was found with child of the Holy Spirit Matthew 1:18
2- It was a vital birth - He shall save His people from their sins Matthew 1:21

III. The Motive Of The Word Becoming Flesh
1- He became one with us, so that we might be willing to follow Him.
2 - He became one for us, because He loves us.

What is Christmas all about? Oh, it's all about the kids. It's about giving to others. Santa. It's about super sales.

No, the real meaning of Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. The birth of God's Son, who cared enough to give His life for us, so we may believe in Him.
